When I think about all the

things we have gone through;

The good, bad and all that is in

between, the night and morning dew.

The smile that gives my heart

so much joy.

Comes from having you in

The world is so bright and the

A candle light dinner
soft music and a rose,
Glass of red wine and
the sand between our toes.

Watching the sunset with a
cool breeze in the air,
The first star twinkles as I
see your beauty oh so rare.

With your head on my soldier
we watch the waves roll in,
Laughing and talking about all
of the places we've been.

Although you're my wife,
your also my best friend.
I love you with all my heart
and that will never ever end.

Life

Sometimes life can be

bright and beautifull

No cares or worries,

no problems at all.

A life that holds

such treasures as;

Joy, peace, love and

happieness.

Each dy that I spend with

you is like no other.

You always seem to know

just what to do.

I cherrish each moment and

look forward to the day,

Can this be what is real

or am I in a haze.

This is te life that I

always dreamed of,

now I have it and so

much more.

You are my life and the

most precious treasure

life can give.

I think about the day that

we first met,

How my life changed with

no regret.

Te countless hours that turned

into days,

Lift my heart floating

in a haze.

I think about the sunshine

of you smile,

How you made my life complete

from which there is no denial.

Oh how I miss those times when

you would just hold me.

Meeting your family and you showing

your love so openly.

I think of all the memories

we have together,

living on my own is like a ship

caught in bad weather.

we are a part;

Seventy Years

Mom and Pop what can

I say,

Today is your day

We gather together to

Say a prayer;

All this time an still

No grey hair.

You've een through good times

and had som bad;

but you stayed together

for which I a glad.

Seventy years of love

now that's nt bad;

I am so proud that 

Your my Mom and Dad!

A Hundred Years Ago

Thinking of the days of old
and all the stories told.
I can't but think of you sitting
in the early morning dew.

Wondering if you had fixed the choke
or was old Susie finally broke?
The little rings of smoke that came from
your stogie that I loved to poke.

Setting by the fire at night while you
told of how you use to fight.
Going to the county fairs were so much
fun and watching as your tie came undone.

The times when it was just us boys leaving
Mom to fix what we destroyed.
Often these memories come back to me;
and wondering if you knew how it would be.

One hundred years ago, you took your first breath,
where has the time gone since your death?
It seems like yesterday you were teaching me how to drive,
now I teach others how swim and dive.

I love you Papa, more then you knew.
As I watched, an eagle soars in the sky above,
on his wings I send you my love.
